The Hate No More is an awareness creation and sensitization campaign aimed at addressing issues of Homophobia and hate crimes directed towards Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex persons in Uganda.
Over the years, our species have been harassed, cajoled, insulted, discriminated and on several occasions have been called inhuman, insane, sick, immoral and not upright thinking members of the society. It is against this backdrop that the Hate No More campaign was born.
The campaign which is run by Freedom and Roam Uganda in partnership of the Civil Society Coalition on Human Rights and Constitutional Law with the help of other LGBTI organizations commenced in august 2011 and took a recess in December.
We here by inform you that the campaign will resume on 4th June 2012. The activities of this round of the campaign will include but not limited to pinning posters, holding meetings and dialogues and distributing IEC materials.
We call upon organizations to give us audience to dialogue with them, educate them and seek their partnership.
We seek volunteers from LGBTI organizations and individuals in the community to work with us 33in implementing the activities of the campaign
We urge the general public to read the Anti Homosexuality Bill and relate to how it affects each of them and subsequently condemn it
